Enugu State: Artisan bridge collapse

Artisan Bridge (in Enugu State) collapsed this morning (25th September 2023). For those that are conversant with Enugu metropolis, Artisan (a.k.a new Artisan) bridge is located along Enugu-Portharcourt expressway very close to NNPC 'mega' filling station close to Naira Triangle, Emene Enugu.
New Artisan is a place where the livestock market is located in Enugu State.

Though the bridge was looking worn out before its sudden collapse, nobody knew it will collapse when it did.

Let's hope that the government of Enugu State headed by Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah will take care of it soonest because that bridge is a link road that connects people from the Ebonyi State axis and those coming from the Anambra axis who are Portharcourt bound.
Now the option people who usually ply that road have is to go through New Haven and Independence Layout (both are suburbs in Enugu) by finding their way through Ike Ekweremadu avenue to connect back to the Enugu-Portharcourt expressway.
The above suburbs are currently experiencing heavy traffic.
